About IndiaRestros

Most people in India find restaurants through apps that rank places by who pays, mix in advertised listings, and charge restaurants heavy commissions to sell their own food. We think foodies and restaurants deserve better, and that the coming wave of AI assistants needs an honest, open place to look things up.

IndiaRestros is that place: one page and one permanent id for every restaurant in India, built from open data and public listings, with every fact labelled with its source. Foodies browse free. Restaurants list, claim and correct their page free. AI agents read everything free.

What we will charge for, later and at a small flat fee: tools that let restaurants answer agents and foodies directly. Never a commission on a bill, and never a better position in a list.
